” A Prototype is worth 1000 meetings. ” – HyLight
I’ll let my tinkering do the talking!

Triac Light Dimmer
2025
A tour de force of fundamentals of power electronics (Rectification, ZCD, Sawtooth, PWM generation, Triac Firing Angles). It’s very fancy for a light dimmer where a potentiometer alone could work, but what fun would that be?
Wendy II
2024
I need to stop naming my projects Wendy just because they involve airflow. This was a drone propeller test bench I built for HyLight during my internship in France.

Revel
2024
What do you do when you’ve got no school, no work, and are just bumming around at your parent’s house for a few months? You work with your other friend in the same situation to build your first (attempted) consumer product!

2024
Principal project for my De-Ice summer internship. How do you cool electronics pumping out enough energy to melt a couple thousand pounds of snow?

2023
Keurigs allow you to put a pod in and get coffee out. We believe fried eggs should be the same.
MHD-pump
2022-23
All pumps are powered by motors… right?

2022
Using first-principles of fluid mechanics, we designed and built a simple testing apparatus for measuring the viscosity of fluids and tested it on dish soap and corn syrup.
2021
Berkeley has a notoriously large number of bike theft incidents. This IoT system notifies me via cell notification when my bike is being stolen… and also delivers an unpleasant (or pleasant) surprise.

2021
A 2-Unit Quantum Cubesat (appropriately named “Qubesat”) that is the centerpiece of my work with Space Technologies at Cal. Qubesat launched with Astra Space in January 2022!
2021
A car designed to receive and process verbal signals and drive accordingly. As a combination of circuitry, hardware, and computer learning, this project sharpened my skills and put me to work.

2020
The crux of my work during my first college internship, this is a mechanical system that can autonomously maneuver the complex degrees of freedom of a shift stick in a RAM 1500. Retro-fittable to vehicles with similar shift stick design.
2020
My first set of practical prints on my newly purchased 3-D printer. Among the many designs include a door hook for hanging towels and a fridge accessory.
Simple yet effective.

2019
The optimization of both speed and accuracy is an intriguing challenge. This vehicle is designed to travel both forward and backwards in the same run, achieving top speeds of over 1 m/s while coming to within millimeters of a target point.
2018
A simple structure with a simple task: create the lightest structure to hold the heaviest load. Efficiency is key.
Many hours were put into each iteration of this structure until extreme precision was achieved.
