Welcome!

Who am I?

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

What’s up! My name is Sean. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Southern California and am currently living in the Bay Area as a graduate student studying Aero/Astro. I am a tinkerer who is constantly looking for ways to get my hands dirty and build something useful to bring to the world. Seeing tangible value come out of abstract ingenuity is one of the greatest levels of satisfaction imaginable to me. I’ve worked on things ranging from rockets, satellites, and blimps to machines that automatically cook you eggs in the morning! At my core, what I do is driven by a deep curiosity for yet unknowns which certainly does not exclusively apply to science and technology.

Even when I am not spending hours toiling over the workload of an expensive education or building my next 3 AM idea, my curiosity and need to explore persists. Many of my more ambitious (and expensive) pastimes such as flying and diving all align nicely with a sense of wonder for what may be out there. Along this theme, I also adore travelling. My work has taken me to Cape Canaveral, Boston, Paris, and more – a set of locations more enriching and diverse than I could have dreamed of. I have deeply enjoyed these opportunities to connect with and befriend folks who come from vastly different backgrounds and hold vastly different perspectives while also realizing how fundamentally similar we all are.

Onto simpler things, I also enjoy playing basketball, chess, cooking, learning languages, books about philosophy and psychology, horror movies, and making things aesthetic.

Scroll back up there and feel free to explore! Please don’t hesitate to give me feedback on my site. I have the honor of your attention, so let me make it worth your while.
